  1. Hi

I have seen a few posts here where audio ends up longer / shorter than video, but none quite match my case:

I have a fair few .ts files from my Humax 9200T and my Grundig USB STB, and ultimately i want to get these to DVD.

My problem is right at the start of the process: demuxing with ProjectX results in the .AC3 file much shorter than the .m2v eg 34 minutes shorter for a 1hr 55 film.

All the files play fine in VLC, with audio right through to the end.

    Any assistance much appreciated.

    Many thanks

Check your Presettings in ProjectX - Audio should be like this

SONY 75" Full array 200Hz LED TV, Yamaha A1070 amp, Zidoo UHD3000, BeyonWiz PVR V2 (Enigma2 clone), Chromecast, Windows 11 Professional, QNAP NAS TS851

  4. wow - thanks for the quick responses

@Baldrick: sounds like a cunning plan (how many times...) I set out to demux because am a real newbie at this, and the DVB guide over at Doom9 told me to do it that way! I aim to cut out commercial breaks, so I think demuxing should help with audio sync?

@netmask56: enlightening screenie. My settings are actually not the same as that: I don't have 'fill gaps with prev. frame' or 'add frames' checked.

    Exciting! I'll report back.

    Thanks again!

  5. no joy! I changed the presettings but audio stubbornly remained same length. I used TSMuxer but the result has out-of-sync audio, but at least it's to the end.

I d/l'd VideoReDo, and that worked a treat - thinking at this stage I will make my life a bit easier and just use that!

    Thanks for your help, though.

    Best regs.
