DVDx or TMPGenc ... please help

hi everybody,

i made a vcd with dvdx and the quality is not to bad but i spoke with a lot of people recently and they suggest me to use Tmpgenc instead of dvdx...
so i'm asking you this question because i know that i can find the right answer here in this forum..

p.s. if a better program exist than let me know..

1. i use smartripper to rip the dvd
2. i use dvdx to make my vcd..

hrhmm,.., well do you encode with panasonics plugin or with dvdx mpeg encoder?

if you are using dvdx encoder then i think you should try tmpgenc or the panasonic plugin cause the quality is alot better
