Hi folks, I'm new to this forum. Your details were given to me by my tv repairman who said you may be able to assist me with info on how to change region code on my dvd from code 4 to all regions
Hope someone can assist with this problem. Am getting thoroughly fed up with unscrupulous retailers who sell videos with incompatible region codes. Anyway, will wait to hear from you. Regards .... evelyn.

  2. Just by decrypting it to the hard drive you'll make it all-region. Unless the movie is quite new, DVD Decrypter should be able to handle it. Afterwards burn it to disc.

Or buy yourself an all-region DVD player.

Australia is region 4. Unless you are buying from importers or ebay, you will be buying region 4 or region free discs.

Region free DVD players are by far the norm over here, so the simplest solution is just to buy a region free player. You almost have to go out your way to buy one that is region locked.

Or you may be able to make your current player region free - what is it ?

Bluray is another story, or course.
