finally my mac

Hi

i just bought my first mac.
of course i need to find the right software i used on my pc for my mac

on my pc i used dvdfab to rip my dvd's and convert to h264
what software should i use on osx that gives me the best results

Rip with mactheripper (or maybe makemkv or ripit) and convert/shrink with handbrake.

i forgot to specify, do they also work for blu-ray, i will have very soon a external blu-ray for mac
