Did you burn the bin file as an image, or as a data file ?

The following link tells you exactly how the disc should be burned : https://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpcontent.pl?scy=TR&slg=TUR&mid=Link_Softwa...12_fur_eng.pdf

  6. Yes I tried to burn it following those instructions. I dont know why the player doesnt recognise the disc, because the firmware is for this type and it should work.

Since you are a new member, I have no idea what your technical skills are. But in the past we've had new members insist that they "Burned just like the instructions said to do" but they really didn't. It is absolutely critical that you be sure that the disc is finalized and it is NOT burned as a multi-session burn. Nero defaults to multi-session burns and you have to know to turn that off manually in their Burning ROM program. If you use that easy GUI interface that is called Smart Start or something like that, I have no idea what it does. You should put one of your burned discs in a PC and see if you can see anything on it. That will at least tell you that the disc is finalized if you see something on it, although that won't rule out a multi-session burn. You should also be sure to burn as "Disc at once" and NOT as "Track at once".

I suppose there is some chance that the DVD player doesn't like your media. Philips doesn't have a reputation for being really fussy, but you never know. Verbatim makes the best and most reliable re-writable media. If you want to use a re-writable disc so you're not wasting discs on this, buy and use Verbatim. You could contact Philips and ask for help. I have to warn you that if you downloaded this firmware from a site outside of your country, I can't guarantee that it will work. There can be hardware differences on the same model sold in different countries. I'm not saying that there definitely are differences, I'm just saying it's possible.
