I’d like to find a DVD Workshop 2 tutorial/video that outlines step by step from start to finish, how to execute a basic project such as this:

Import a DVD-compliant MPEG-2 file into DVDW2 and create a dvd without doing anymore transcoding, encoding or compression as it’s important to preserve the original quality to the fullest extent possible. Quality already took a hit during the compression process.

Really don’t need anything more involved such as subtitles, motion menu, chapters, background music and the like. Maybe latter I’ll explore some of those options.

All I want to do is put in a background slide of my choosing and put a “play” the dvd button on the main menu that’s it!!

    Any recommendations appreciated.

    Thank you.

Try the DVD WS site http://www.ulead.com/dws/documents.htm this is the basic guide. But as far as not doing anymore transcoding, encoding, etc.... the file would have to be rendered once you complete.
