    hey all,

    just wondering, i just ripped the widescreen version of the patriot, im wondering now wut screen size to convert the video into. Im planning to convert the movie into divx5, two cds. Would 7408480 be ok? any suggestions would be kool

    is the disc 16:9 anamorphic? if so you need to resize: crop 8pixels off each side & resize 720x368 or just resize to 720x360 if you dont care if the aspect ratio is a little off. my background is svcd so i'm sure all these aspect figures are completely wrong for pure pc monitor playback, but it gives you an idea
