  1. Here is my problem--I transfer HD programs off my Tivo and use VideoReDo to edit out the commercials. If I convert the edited file directly to an AVCHD disc with tsMuxer without any transcoding/shrinking, it plays without any problem. However, I would like to shrink/compress about two 45 min episodes into one disc so I have tried out multiAVCHD to complile an AVCHD disc with 2 titles. When I run the program to transcode/shrink the video files to fit onto one DVD-5 disc, the resulting video plays back with the audio totally out of sync. Can somebody please enlighten me as to what I may be doing wrong or if there really is any type of solution to what I am attempting to do? Thanks in advance!

    Ask in the multiavchd forum.

Or try shrink with something else. Maybe avchdcoder or ripbot264.

  3. Thanks for the suggestion Baldrick! However I too have tried to transcode the edited mpeg-2 file with AVCHDCoder and again the audio is out of sync when I play it back. Does VideoReDo somehow affect the structure of the resulting edited file so that it throws the transcode out of sync? I have tried to post the same inquiry on the multiAVCHD forum hosted by Dean and he thinks that I am working with a wacky .mpg file ..the file is a direct transfer from my Tivo and there is no problem at all if I simply encode the raw edited file to an AVCHD disc with tsMuxer--the out of sync audio dilemma only occurs if I try to shrink/transcode it.

You haven't filled in your computer specs, so I don't know what OS you are running, however I have noticed issues with some versions of videoredo and Win7. The same issues do not arise with Womble Mpeg Video Wizard
