playback feature may not be available for this disc,Does anyone what I can do to fix this?

Did you end up with a VIDEO_TS folder(from WinAVI) to burn to the DVD-R?

What brand and type of DVD disc are you burning to? What software did you use to burn? Describe what settings/options you used while burning.

  5. I am using Memorex DVD-R. 4.7 gb 120 min. I used WinAVI to convert and burn.
I used burn from AVi to DVD. I followed a tutorial from You tube to do this.

You can also try playing the VIDEO_TS folder from a software player before burning. VLC can do this, among others. That may help to confirm you have a viable VIDEO_TS folder before wasting another disc.

You also didn't mention if you tried to play the burned disc from your PC. Some set top players may be picky about playing burned discs, or the disc brand may not be compatible with your player. Or there may be some feature in that VIDEO_TS folder that doesn't agree with your player, maybe subs, or audio format or something else. You can use MediaInfo to check the format of your VIDEO_TS folder contents.

    And welcome to our forums.

Can You reuse DVD-R...I have 2 of them where i tried to burn on and can't.
I hate to throw them away if they can be erased and used again.

ImgBurn is mainly a "burning" program.....but it is THE BEST burning program.
And....not all discs are created equal. Memorex are some of the worst. Next time try Verbatim.
    Nope....you cannot re-use -R or +R discs.
