    After downloading some videos from the internet that came out in .mkv format, I used VLC to play the file but it ends up having no subtitles and a warning message comes out: mkv:

    No EBML header found
    mkv: No EBML header found




    Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

    what happens when playing with either kmplayer, mpc or mpchc with directvobsub?
