Dell Laptop display turn 90 degree(clockwise)

Hi All,

Need help to turn back the screen 90 degree counter-clockwise. Not sure what my niece had done to her laptop. It hang and she pressed control-alternate-delele several times. The display rotated 90 degree clockwise.

rt. click your desktop, select properties/settings/advanced. look through the tabs in there, see if one contains rotation settings.

I did a google and managed to dredge up this...
Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up
Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees
(If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R)

This fixed my niece's problem.

Thank you. 2/14/2010. This tip worked for a friend of mine - her grandaughter had managed to shift the display 90 degrees. This enabled the grandmother to get it shifted back.
