  1. I had a technical question, I recently bought a sony dvd recorder and i have used it a few times already and it works just fine. But i used one disc in december and when i tried to view the files it said the disc was empty. when we were using this disc we ran out of space so we changed discs and the next recording worked just fine. But when we put the disc in our home computer or back into the dvd camcorder it shows no media on the disc but you can look at the back of the disc and you can see it has stuff on it. Is there anything i can do to recover the media, or anywhere i can take it to get looked at, i have tried downloading filecure programs on my computer but still no help, any thoughts?

Try an ISO reading program, such as ISOBuster. It can't be read because it wasn't finalized, so it has data on it, but no file directory.

Never let your DVD recorder "run out" on it's own. That should be the FIRST thing printed
    in all DVD recorder manuals.
