  1. I know how to use avc2avi but that one skip frames! No wonder why sound is not sync when using vdub, now for the mencoder, i get some errors when I use -ovc raw but still playable, as for -ovc x264 (or other types) it can be read by vdub but it feels like the quality decreased

by the way, the error in mencoder is something like concealing some frames or something? (I'm no expert in this)

Is there someway for avc2avi not to skip frames? Or programs similar to that?

Why do you need to convert to avi? Just to open in virtualdub? avi might not support all h264 features.
