My Question is I have Recorded in a video in MP4 and I need to convert
and edited to a DVD.
I have the idea down on how to kinda know what to look for
when converting and editing these videos?

and settings so that I can have quality DVD from a MP4 format and

try avstodvd. and for youtube type stuff xmediarecode has a youtube preset you could try. lots of other converters also, check out the tools section in the left border.
