ATSC EDITING SOFTWARE???
Any TS streamer come across any ATSC formated editing software??
ie: application that is actually formatted for the ATSC 'uncompressed' HD 'TS'
streamin'? (more specifically that allow the 'video options' user setable')
The current two apps I use, (nero 7 ultra(non blu-ray ver) and the
Cyberlink power dvd ver7 HD suite for blu-ray.
ex: nero setting is NTSC DvD video 'high quality' 8000 bitrate 720 x xxx
at 4.0 gig's when the TS files are 8.0+gig's. these TS files are HD 1280 x720 8.0
gig's perfect for a 8.5 DL disc. so it would seem since the brate of 8000 is
more or less equating to the 4.0 gig, 16,000 would match the DL disc.
Anyway, my concern is a 'current' ATSC authorizing program. Not something
based on the dead 'NTSC.'
Nero at least processes the TS files, but can't handle the high bit rate of the
ATSC encoding. I can't increase 'nero's' values.
Cyberlink on the other hand works well for playin' m2ts files ripped or original,
but doesn't 'edit' TS or m2ts files.
I been goin' with what I know....maybe there's more available now.......
Feel free to inform me. Any new products????
P.S I should mention....I only use 'nero' to edit out commercials on the TS files, so if someone knows a commercial remover that doesn't require recoding the project, that could work.
