1. I know that PS3 HDMI won't work, but I can capture PS3 games using Component and still get HD 1080i quality, correct?
2. Can I capture PC games with this card as well?
3. I heard there's uncompressed and compressed format when capturing - how large are the compressed videos? 1 hour = 4gb?
Thank you.

1) Yes, you can record 1080i component output from any device that puts it out -- unless it's marked with the CGMS-A "do not copy" flag.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CGMS-A
2) Yes. But don't expect to capture on the same computer you're playing on. It's too CPU intensive.
3) You're way off! Uncompressed 1920x1080i is about 450 GB/hr. 1280x720p60 about 400 GB/hr. You will need a RAID 0 array to capture uncompressed.
Consider a Hauppauge HD PVR too. It ignores CGMS-A so it can capture all component signals, SD and HD. It uses a hardware h.264 encoder so it's hardware requirements are much lower. It may even be possible to capture on the same computer on which you're playing a game. -
There is also a 1080p capture card you could consider. Sent you a PM.
