    I have some home movies that are MPG 720x480 and RipBot will not do anything with the video it stays at "gathering Info" for hours.

    Any ides why?

    I would use staxrip for mpg sources.

    Why?

    I've been using ripbot on HD stuff and it works great. It's just the home movies (DVD) it wont open on a bought DVD it works but i will look into your suggestion.
