Hi,
I currently use outdated-unsupportedMiro DC50 (MJPEG Card). Now I plan to move to new WinXP and a new capture card for making VCD and Video cutting for my customers. DC50 didn't have any new driver for XP
. I am not interested in low quality VCD authoring card. I got a SONY Digital 8 handycam and should be match with a new DV capture card. The only problem is almost DV card alway capture at full frame resolution which make VCD encoding very slow and harddisk consumming.
Are there any capture card that have DV capability and can capture quad video (352x288) directly without reencode full video into quad video.
Thanks in advance.
Thanin 8)

Firewire cards (ieee 1394) do not capture. They only transfers data to and from differnt devices, such as a digital camcorder or an extenal harddrive.
