I've successfully encoded one flash video to produce a VIDEO_TS folder but another flash video from a different source only produces a file with extension .flv.ff.m2v and no VIDEO_TS folder is produced. The .flf.ff.m2v file is without sound. In both cases I used the mpeg2enc encoder. Any ideas please?

The log end below looks suspicious; due to the message "cannot save file" but I've written both files above to the same location.

The log doesn't reveal (to me) a reason for this to occur.

This is normal for .m2v files, as the video is converted first. After that, the audio should be converted to a separate file (often .ac3). Finally these two should get muxed together into a .mpg file.
I wonder what this '.flf' file is, as Flash video files usually have a '.flv' suffix.

Are you sure the source file has audio (see ffmpegX Summary tab), and is it properly recognized? What is the audio codec in the source file?
