A couple of months ago we installed a program called "Folder Lock"(free version). Later we decided to uninstall it. Two months later while installing "Regtool" it stopped with the message: " cannot continue because of a conflict with "Folder Lock"". We have been through the registry with a fine toothed comb and cannot find any trace of "Folder Lock". Is anyone familiar with this problem?

Go into Safe Mode( F8 ) and see if there's anything left.
My guess is when you uninstalled there were files still in there so Folder Lock hid them. -
Sorry should have mentioned that. We went through safe mode several times. We also tried several registry cleaners.

Ok try this:
Go to Explore\Tools\Folder Options and make sure showing hidden files is enabled. Then use Windows search and under More Advanced Options check "search hidden files and folders".
