As per subject line can version 2.5 and SVCD2DVD [v2.5 build 2.5.5030 date: 28 Jan 2009] as per registered users download
coexist with each other? Also, will they both install into the same 'BadgerIT' installation directory?
I'm only asking as I had some troubles installing regular 2.5 and then some troubles afterwards keeping it working, obviously I would like to avoid such troubles again. So don't wish to do anything that would rock the boat, such as installing a competing version of svcd2dvd especially if it's going to cause problems with either variant
Obviously, I'm keen to try out the ability to handle new formats MP4/MKV/h264/x264 but not so much if it's going to cause problems with the previous installation.
So can I install and use both without incident?
Also, trying to install the new version whilst the 'old' version is still installed gives me a choice 'Remove version 2.5' or 'Repair version 2.5' is this to install the New Version or to get rid of the 'old' version?
I'm possibly worrying over nothing, but I would like to know what I'm doing before I commit a serious mistake and do somthing I may live to regret![]()
Thank you for your time.
