  1. Hi there

I have some MKV files that were created by someone which contain two commentary tracks, one of which is in MP3 format. I tried converting them to AVCHD, using MultiAVCHD, which does a great job, but doesn't seem to convert the MP3 file?

I've tried playing the AVCHD back on my computers, as well as a PS3, yet there's no MP3 commentary. How can I fix this? is there any other software that will do what I want?

MKVExtractGUI to get the mp3 file out on it's own. Convert to AC3 2 channel 256 kbps. MKVMerge to put it back into the original MKV file in place of the MP3. Then try playing it back.

  3. Are you sure it is MP3? Because multiAVCHD should reencode it to AC3. I tested a lot of files with MPEG1-L2 (mpa) and MPEG1-L3 (mp3) and it always worked.

  6. You can also post the log from multiAVCHD - it will be much easier.
