Why so many warez request?

Why have there been so many warez request here lately?

As I posted this, in bold & bright letters above me it says

NO REQUESTS AND NO LINKS FOR WAREZ,APPZ,MOVIEZ,CRACKZ OR SERIALZ ON THIS FORUM PLEASE!


I don't get it. I wonder if half the people asking for this software would even have a vital use for it.

There are freeware, GNU, and GPL licensed software available every where. And most of those apps are just as capable as the commercial ones.

Good post. I am glad to see someone can read those bright letters when they show up. At least one person who is new to the sight isn't color blind. I applaud you!

(during the registration process, i think there should be a page in big bold letters that stands out and says "NO REQUESTS FOR~~~~~~". No small writing, but a page with HUGE letters saying that)

Pfftt hey sometimes ppl get desprate for a copy of a program, yea i know its bad (spank spank) but there are some companys out there who are soo stupid that they expect ppl to shove out lotsa cash for a program with no demo no nuttin for the users to try out.

yea i know ppl want stuff for free and steal wat they can get. but thats bad verry bad. im not defending them. im jus saying that some ppl are resorting to WAREZ because the company is either out of BIZ or Giving nuttin out as in terms of DEMO

Human nature is to find shortcuts and be greedy. For example. "Mike" is greedy therefore he doesnt want to spend his hard earned money on some overpriced peice of crap he can get for free, and instead of looking for it himself he takes a shortcut and ask for it here.

Hint Hint people!!! you will not find warez on the internet.(some times you can, but most of the time the site is shutdown very quickley)try usenet and mirc. So instead of asking for it first go look for it there and if all else fails look for a warez forum somewhere on the internet and post your request there.

The bottom line for me is : ask where it's appropriate.
I'm not for or against warez, since i see both sides.
Here is not appropriate to ask.
