virtualdub won't encode anything

I've been using VD to edit a bunch of AVI's using DivX compression and all of a sudden when try to save the AVI nothing happens, it doesn't bring up the processing display and doesn't even try to encode at all. I've tried several compressions, DivX, 3ivx ect. and even unconpressed full and direct stream but still nothing. I tried restarting the computer but that didn't help either.
Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Check to see that it isn't sending the encodes to the job control - that when you go to encode you don't have "Don't run this job now..." checked.

Yes, I've tried several sources. Manono you were right, I don't know how it got checked but it did. I've nver used it so I didn't even know it was there. What an easy fix LOL. Sorry to waste anyones time, thanks for the help.
