    I had my Ipod Nano 2nd generation hooked to my pc which is XP. I go to click on "safely remove device" at the bottom of the desktop. It has stop "USB mass storage device" and "Ipod device". I always have clicked on USB mass storage device and stopped that, and have never had any problems, but for some reason I clicked on Ipod device, and now when I connect my Ipod to the pc the pc does not recognize it at all.

    So I am guessing I must have turned something off on the pc, because I never have had this problem when I would click on and stop USB mass storage device. Tried rebooting pc, resetting Ipod, but no luck so far.

    I hate a Ipod.
