I'm sorry, I'm inept. I've read the manual but am still unclear on how to transfer video I've shot on m canon vixa hf100 to my computer (Windows XP). I tried reading the card but my computer doesn't recognize the files and though I downloaded the image mixer software it doesn't seem to help.

If someone could please give me a step-by-step instruction on how to transfer the video I'd really, really appreciate it. I have no idea if I'm supposed to convert what i've shot or if it's OK in its format, etc.

I'm so sorry for the dumb question & thank you!

The Canon HF100 comes with a software package from Pixela
called ImageMixer 3 SE. With this software you can download,
edit & make DVDs with with the footage hou have shot.
