andvd help

I have used anydvd in conjuction with dvdxcopy, nero and 1click but the options anydvd gives such as region code removing, ad/fbi warnings removal etc don't work. Am I correct in thinking these additional anydvd features only work with clonedvd and not other (non slysoft) dvd burning softwares?

Anydvd, dvdshrink and imgburn should be all you need.

Anydvd decrypts it in the background. Dvdshrink is used to shrink it, and Imgburn to burn it.

Dvdshrink and imgburn are freeware.

yes thats not the point i dont want to use dvdshrink and imageburn because i'm not interested in sitting at a computing waiting for things to be put on the harddrive while I stare at a screen. all i want is simple disc to disc copying so that is why i want to know why the removal features on anydvd does not work. i'm asking if it works on clonedvd because i haven't tried it yet so if anyone is familar and uses anydvd and clonedvd please advise. thank you.

Yes, it can work with CloneDvd.

Who said you had to sit at the computer? You could walk away while it is doing it's work. Disc to disc copying is not always the best way of doing it. You might need to get rid of some stuff. There might be other problems as well. That is why copying to the hard drive is better, but once you start the process you are not tied to your desk.

Dvd shrink is similar to clonedvd, and dvdshrink is free. It can remove features, shrink and if you have the modified version, you could even have dvdshrink employ imgburn to burn the disc for you.

It works with most other software to decrypt, though it does conflict with a couple. Do a search to find out which, I can't remember off-hand. But yes, if you want to just put in a movie and come back 20 min. later with an excellent copy (assuming you have 2 drives), no worries, yeah AnyDVD/CloneDVD2 is the way to go.
I use it in one step mode with DVDRebuilder and Imgburn too. Of course you have to come back in 4 hrs. unless you have quadcore, but still, go away for a while and you'll have a burned DVD when you come back.

If you use AnyDVD with Clone DVD2, you will be able to selectively remove special features, FBI warnings, etc.
Clone DVD (as also with 1clickdvdcopypro and DVDFab Platnium) allows the user to preview each section of the DVD so that he/she will know what specifically is in that section prior to selecting it for inclusion or removal.

I have used AnyDVD HD successfully with 1clickdvdcopy5, 1clickdvdcopypro, CloneDVD2, and Imgburn.
I have never used it with DVD Rebuilder, DVD Shrink, or Nero, and, of course, DVDFab Platinum doesn't need AnyDVD and the two will not run simultaneously.
