    Usually car DVD players can't be made region free. A Google search found an article on another website that says that your player may be a Pioneer AVD-W6200, but that is only a guess and the person who said that is not sure. A Google search by me did not find any way to make the Pioneer AVD-W6200 be region free.

    Supreme2k - You are right to ask the question, but I think that the poster is talking about the DVD player that comes standard in some Acura models.

    Well, the sloppy post didn't clarify that.

    aria, you may want to rip the discs (removes region) and even put 2 movies per disc. On the 5-7 inch monitors in most vehicles, 3-4 hours on a SL disc looks pretty decent (and sometimes great).
