Can any Samsung finalize a -R dvd? I have several dvds that have not been finalized with a smoked recorder unit. I really dont want to buy another SAMSUNG. I have seen the reviews and they suck! Especially the 325 model. But I didnt finalize these and I hate to throw them all away now!

I have the same situation. I had to send back my old Samsung VR325 for repair (b/c dvd door wouldn't open!). However, Samsung couldn't fix it so they sent me the new model VR375 instead. But I have old disks that were not finalized and shows an "error" when I put the old unfinalized disks in the new model.
Anyone with the old VR325 unit able to help me finalize my disks? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info, Ozzyjim! I tried ISOBuster last night and it was able to view "tracks" on the disks. However, it let me extract files as ISO instead. Bear with me, I have no clue what to do with this file. However, if I bought the full software, would it let me extract the actual video files instead?
I did fiddle around with changing the ISO file name to MPG and was able to view the video clips (but in distorted form - aspect ratio was off). -
The ISO is just the container for the files, not a format. If they are distorted on playback, then that's likely a problem with the file, not the container. (Or your player may not be reading the aspect ratio flags properly.} You can play them back with VLC from a ISO or use a program like Daemon Tools to emulate a drive and direct copy them as a MPEG, if that's their format.
