I really like the chapter marking and subtitling abilities of iDVD pro, but I don't like the $1000 price tag for the software.
I was wondering if there were some clever, less expensive ways, to accomplish the same thing.
My specific use for such features is when converting some family videos to DVD, I plan to use the chapter marking to index various portions of the videos and the subtitling (which I am assuming can be turned on/off while playing a DVD - I haven't done much with DVDs yet....yes, I am behind on the tech curve in this area :D ) to mention who is on screen or any "extra" information which might be of interest.
Thank you.
