Hi. I have just found this site and I am hoping I can some help with my query. I have a DAEWOO DR-2100P DVD recorder. I am in the process of transferring some VHS tapes (mostly Disney Originals) onto DVD. All of the tapes except one have transferred with no problem. However one VHS tape (The Lion King) causes the DVR recorder to go into pause mode when an attempt is made to record. I have done some research and assume that Macrovision protection is being used to prevent a backup copy of the tape being made. There appear to be several possible solutions to resolve the problem ranging from hardware devices to firmware hacks. Is there a firmware hack available for the DAEWOO DR-2100P? If not what would best solution to the problem? Thank You.

Is it Macrovision, or CGMS (Copy Guard Management System?
There are guides and earlier posts which deal with this - please take the time to read your way through the forums before posting, this has been asked 1,000 times before, by all, including myself.
Welcome to videohelp (formerly VCDHelp, DVDRhelp - tells you how long I've been lurking!), enjoy the research.
