ok here is my question and hope someone can point me to the right software. I ripped 15 cd's of mine for a backup since i really don't want these cd's scratched. Now that i ripped them, i wanted to know if there is a cd burning software out here with cdtext capabilities(my dvd/cd burners have it) that i can place 3 blank cd's (I have 3 burners) and rip them all at the same time choosing it's directory. I have and use roxio 2009, but i can only do one cd at a time. Thanks all.

Nero, and DiscJuggler come to mind.

Nero has had this feature since version 6.x IIRC

Did you click on the links?

You don't open 3 instances of the software. The software allows you to choose multiple simultaneous recorders.

Honestly though, it only takes 3 minutes to burn a full 70minute CD.

^^ That's the features overview for discJuggler, 7th and 8th feature from the bottom

I hope there's other applications as well that can support this feature. https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/burn has a list, Nero and DiscJuggler were the two that I've used, and know for sure multiple recorders work.

  7. I don't recommend burning simultaneously unless you have identical burners or you are using Firewire enclosures.
BTW:RecordNow 4.5(the newer versions don't) and Prassi Ones support it.

If your hardware is upto it, things should be fine. I burn 4 different DVD images to 4 different DVD burners at 8x speed with out issues. Of course these are SATA burners reading from 2 different raid 10fd2 storage arrays though.

2 identical images to two identical drives is fine on a modern system.

The OP has a 3.0 dual core with RAID 1, 3 CD images shouldn't be a problem.

But it does take some care to set up properly as MOVIEGEEK stated

In the time it took you to type all of this nonsense you could have been at least 1/4 of the way done already.

Downloaded demo discjuggler, dont like it and i do not want to purchase it for 2 drives, alcohol seems to do just images, i need to burn mp3's into cda cd. I'm almost done burning hem now using Roxio 2009, but i would still like a cd burning software that can burn mp3's into cda but using 3 cd burners, this way if i ever do this again, i can burn them quickly off my hard drive. Thanks.
