Hi there. Video by and large is interlaced. But computer monitors are progressive. So, what you see on a computer screen is not a faithful representation of what you will see on a television.
Is there a software player that will do a real-time adjustment of interlaced video for faithful display on a computer monitor?
I hope I've made myself clear.

Most media players have a deinterlacing function. e.g. VLC, KMplayer, MPlayer. You can even deinterlace with some decoders eg.ffdshow. Real time deinterlacing requires more CPU usage, and if your computer specs listed are up to date, you may or may not be able to do it, depending on the type of video you are using
