Hi, appreciate any help here. I shot a few clips with the 5D mk2 SLR. The audio is horrible, I used a cheap external mic (returned). I have access to Premiere pro and soundbooth, but both have quite a learning curve. I'll do it but want to make sure I'm on the right track.
Should I convert the files to something easier to work with first?
The end result will be a HD slideshow with mixed stills, audio and video done in Proshow.

I'm cleaning the audio with Soundbooth and exporting file as mp4. Hopefully I'm on the right path.
