  1. regarding my last post with subject WHY OH WHY?

    im still lookin out for the best softwear to use when rippin dvds without causing me the shaky picture? im tryin to do DRIVEN + SOUL SURVIVOURS both NTSC versions..im in the UK

    as no1 answered me in the last post could some1 plz reply as these movies are goin back today...lol

    Hi, get the following tools:

    1) dvddecrypter, to rip the vob files to the hard disk.
    2) get flaskmpeg to encode to mpg files, you need a plugin call thunder plugin to read the .IFO file.
    also you need a encoder plugin. I myself use panasonic (not free) but bbmpeg is also very good

    you iopen the .IFO file copied in step 1 and do all your settings and flask it.

    3) you need tmpgenc, to split the movie mpg in chunks so they fit on a cd. Go to the mpeg tools from the menu..

    Thats basically it..

    follow kalel's guides at dvdripguides.com, I make two changes, I also use dvdcrypter and when I encode I do it in two parts using source range in tmpgenc, I don't like cutting the movie after encoding, in most cases it works fine but other times can cause sync problems, better to encode and burn....Gary
