Has anyone got this to work?

I've installed the 64bit version and it's present in the windows/system32 folder but my avis won't play and VDub doesn't list it as a compression codec.

    Any ideas?
    Regards,

Does it appear if you use the 64 bit version of VirtualDub? I'm not sure if the same issue applies to video codecs, but I know that 64-bit database driver entries are stored in a different location in the registry from 32 bit drivers.

    That works - thanks!

The strange thing is that windows still won't play my lagarith avis and the 64bit version of VDub doesn't list ffdshow as an encoder.

So I'm having to frameserve from the 64bit VD to the 32bit VD and then encode to H264 lossless.
    Regards,

You could try the experimental 64-bit version of ffdshow. It's available in the Tools section. For playback, try the 64-bit version of Media Player HomeCinema. It isn't listed in the Tools section, but if you go to the author's site, it is there.
