    Hi all
I am gooing to buy the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD2000.
I can get it for around $600 on different sites.... BUT alot of the sites got really bad reviews, grey marked camera, stuff missing and wont sell if you dont buy a lot of ekstra things.

  2. sanyo isn't one of the better camera makers. too many problems with sanyo and their mp4 format. for 600 you can buy a really nice canon hv30 or any number of other sony, jvc or canons.

    thanks for the reply...
From the review i have been looking at today i should be an amazing camera. It just came out and they say it is a lot better than the older Sanyo cameraes.
What would you recommend if i should buy one??
I has to be a vertical camera, HD, and as small as the Sanoy

I like to buy goods from someone local whenever possible. (That way I can get immediate satisfaction if a problem arises.) Best Buy, Costco, Sears and Target come to mind, but I never buy anything from Wal-mart or Sam's Club due to their unfair business practices. Amazon, B & H Photo or J & R Music are good choices for mail order companies.

I agree a Canon would be a better choice, but if you have your heart set on one of these "mini-cams", you might want to consider a Toshiba Camelio S10. Unfortunately its not available in the USA yet.
