I have ripped two movies already using this brilliant DVD2SVCD with no complaints.
I am just wondering if I can rip the DVD first then let DVD2SVCD convert it later? I havent really ripped DVDs before, I just let DVD2SVCD do everything for me overnight by leaving the dvd on and just wake up the following morning, everything is done.
Do i need any information before I do this?

Also when I use SmartRipper, once i load it, does it do everything?
Like is it smart enough to know what is the main movie files?
Also I tried DVD Decrypter, it also selected the vib files for me to rip.
I jsut want the main movie files, not the other extras. -
you sure can. just pick Rip Method, Movie. it will show all the chapters on the disc checked and will rip them to a folder for you. it will rip just the movie and the ifo for you.
