Binaries on the download page

I'm a complete newbie to dvd burning and I downloaded ffmpegx to help me out. It says I need the mpeg2enc binary on the download page for version 0.0.9y but when i follow the link it goes to a page with a bunch of strange characters. I mistakenly downloaded a binary from here and am hoping to find the correct binary and some info on how to replace the other one which I downloaded and used on installation. Things seem to be working with a few exceptions like the preview option when I try to add subtitles always has an error message. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Those "strange characters" are the binaries. Just save the file, and then point ffmpegx at wherever it is that you saved it. Ffmpegx will know what to do with it.
