    Greetings,

I'm trying to figure out how to shrink an MKV file, from 4,36gb to 4gb, so i can afterwards TSmux'it to AVCHD. Since TSmux sometimes makes the file increase in size (this particular one "expands" to 4,65gb) it makes it impossible to burn to a DVD5 - and i've already burned through a lot of DVD9's, only to find out they were unplayable, for one reason or another.

I already checked out a tutorial about Avidemux, but being something of a noob, couldn't get it to work - maybe it's not supposed to, anyway...

I've also got MeGui, but it seems very complicated.
I wonder if there«s a specific guide you could direct me to.
    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
And thaks for having me here.

    Cheers
