Resizing DIVX FILES

Anyone know how to resize DIVX files so that they fit on 1 cd (80mins)????

If I need to convert them to mpg first how would I do it without loosing any quality??????

and how do I encode divx.....???

I am in the process of learning this myself.With help from Sefy, I was able to load one of his templates in TMPGE and change the settings to CQ_VBR 70 and 128kb audio (as per his instruction file) and successfully managed to burn a 92 minute movie using Nero (compliancy off)on one CD.
Now,in saying that I should also tell you that no matter the length of the video you will get no more than 800mb (on a 700mb blank) VCD.
I have tried 2 other similar length movies but both turned out to be too long and therefor not able to go on one CD..So,its hit and miss with the end result.
