  1. Subject says all. I tried Nero, Winoncd, Easy CD Creator and I can't burn a mp3 CDr (that's is, a CDr made of mp3 files to be played in a DVD player which reads mp3 files) choosing the order I want for the mp3 files. For some reason, I can't sort the files the way I'd like to. Any idea as to how can I do that? Is there any program out there which allows you to make a mp3 CDr where you can sort the mp3 files the way you want, not alphabetically???
    Thanks a lot

Have you tried putting a Number in front of you Mp3's before you load them up to be burned.

    Instead of having say...

Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell

    Change it to...

01 - Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell

This way Windows will arrange them going by the Number and not by the name.

Now i have'nt tried this method myself so i don't know if it will work, but at least it 's worth a try.

Do a test onto a CDRW.

  3. Thanks a lot. I had read that possibility somewhere in the net, but, honestly, it's a pain in the ass. You have to rename well over 150 songs beforehand, knowing exactly the order you want them to be in the final CD. If you change your mind as to the order, you'd have to rename the songs again. Not too good, I guess. I was thinking of a burning program which would allow you to unsort the files, so to speak, or to sort them the way you prefer.

  4. Music Match Jukebox is what I use, the registered version ($20, lifetime upgrades) even does "volume leveling" of the tracks. Check it out, and yes, burn the songs in any order you like, fiddle with track tags, create and print covers etc etc etc. Try the free version and see what you think.

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

u can easily fix that by adding a 0 before the 1
    ex:
    01, 02, 03 ,04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09
then keep the double digit ones the same
if u have over 100 songs on the disc then name them:
    001, 002, 003 etc
and for ones that were double digit ones name them:
    010, 011, 012 etc
