    Hi,

    I'm new on here. I'm after a multiregion hack for a Toshiba 19DV555DB, LCD/DVD combo. I know this section is for standalone players but I couldn't see a better section.

    Can anyone help?

    There may not be one. Combo players rarely have hacks. I've only seen a very few hacks in the past for VCR/DVD combos. I've never seen one for a TV/DVD combo. This is an OK section to post your query in.

    Many current DVD players, combo or not, cannot be made region free. Hollywood has apparently convinced most of the manufacturers to stop making their products easily able to be put into region free mode. Based on recent reports it seems that all current Samsung models are region locked and can't be changed. The situation is becoming similar for other manufactures.
