Using PriceGrabber.com I came across a cool site that lists the LCD TV ratings of various products. I found it very useful especially if you are unsure about which product is best.
It helped me and I hope it will help you too.

I think their model needs some work. Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

The "expert reviews" for the top models state they haven't reviewed this model.

Totally bogus. And since when has CNet been considered expert in HDTV sets? They just reprint press releases.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

I agree. I am always deeply distrustful of new members whose very first post is a redirect to some "helpful" website rather than a question asking how to do something.Originally Posted by guns1inger

Look at their highest rated TV, the Sharp AQUOS LC-42D64U. The "expert rating" of 100 is based on a single review at ExpoTV.com. Follow the link and watch the review. It's a video by some woman in her living room.

Har! Check out the transcript of the video review:
It s the full HD with 10 ADP. It s also 3H (00:15.700) which is really nice because when we connected this we removed about 20 different cords that when into it...

Cnet is objective but I would use other sites such as AVSForum and Amazon to see what people who own it have to say.
ex:My parents just bought an HDTV but there was a line on the screen,I went to the Amazon forums and found the solution.
