Aside from the fact that it is a really crap film, has one of the worst movie posters, and that Nicholas Cage's wigs are getting worse by the movie ?

In case you didn't get my subtle dig, you will get more help if you

    a) Post in the correct forum. There are several dedicated to DVD ripping

    b) Post some actual information about the problem you are having

    Try https://forum.videohelp.com/dvd-to-avi-mp4-wmv-mkv-f11.html
    or https://forum.videohelp.com/dvd-to-dvdr-f20.html

Both dedicated to DVD ripping and what happens next.

The only solution you have is to wait for DVDFab HD Decrypter or AnyDVD (whichever is your weapon of choice) to catch up.

I don't think it's inappropriate to post this in the Newbie forum. In fact unless webmaster P read every single forum description it's certainly not that easy to figure out what forum to use for DVD ripping. If you take a look at the forum headers, none are titled "Ripping" and I'd certainly expect a newbie to key on that word. I have seen a lot worse from newbies who posted questions like this in the "News" forum or other similar inappropriate forums. Newbie is kind of a catch all for newbies and I for one don't think it was necessarily wrong to post here.

webmaster P - Gonna have to wait for an updated version of those programs to come out. It usually takes a week or so. They have to buy or acquire a copy of the DVD in question to be able to update their software to work with new variants of ARCCOS.

  11. Here's what the release notes say for DVDFab 5.2.2.5 Beta (January 7, 2009)

BTW, for new protection which was found on Bangkok Dangerous (US) and Disaster Movie (US), you can turn off PathPlayer and make "Main Movie" copy (select title 1) for now. We are working on it, and it should be supported very soon.

Doesn't work. But for shit and giggles I tried using just DVD Shrink in reauthor mode and guess what, it worked. Just make sure you only select title one or you will get cyclic redundancy check errors.

One local reviewer hear has found a formula for Nic Cage movies. He believes the quality of the film is in direct proportion to the quality of the wig Mr Cage wears in said film. Therefore the worse the wig, the worse the film. The better the wig (or no wig), the better the film. This is by no means a perfect system, but is appears to hold true more often than not.

Can't think of any movies that he has been in where he is bald, so I guess all his movies are bad!! Although Face/Off was kinda good. But that was over 10 years ago, so I might think differently about it now.

    Not saying all are bad - but look at the hair . . . . . .

That said, it has probably been almost a decade since he did anything more than average work.

I would rather not look at the hair. Or any other part of Cage. Though I did like National Treasure despite the presence of the the irritant.

Any Nicholas Cage film can be improved by the simple measure of replacing Cage with an actor.

Raising Arizona would not work without him. Quite a bit of his early work is good, sometimes great. Even Face/Off was a bit of fun. But he also has a lot to answer for - The Wicker Man remake being high on his list of films to apologise for.
