Hello all,
I was wondering the following...If I will tape 3 (or more) people talking from "a bird perspective " (do not know the real word in english, sorry ;-)....meaning placing the camera a little higher than the people standing..., would that create more distance or not?
The words being said by one person do have a personal message for the other 2, so while I was sorting out where to put the camera best, this question came up.
Thanks for the input!

Distance is the measurement of how far the camera is away from the subject. Changing perspective doesn't necessarily mean the distance changes. The two are independent

If you place camera far from people they will still sound the same. Way to do this is to use plug in mike, if your camera allow that and place it closer to a person whose message you want to emphasize.
This is usually done by recording separate tracks and mix them in a video editor to create desired effect. -

I will use a mic above the people talking, forgot what the name is in english...
