    hi!

I have resently bought a DVD-player with an USB port and now I can watch my movies throug my 8 GB USB .

Anyways I want my movies to have subtitles (sometimes in Polish)and when I copy a movie and a subtitle (in the normal formats like .srt . txt...) my DVD player sees the subtitle and plays the movie with it.

Now the problem is that when I want Polish subtitles I don't get all the proper letters (this are repleased with ? ' # and so on). I know I can make a .sup file with proper characters but then my DVD player doesn't see this kind of subtitles. Is there any other way i can make a proper subtitle file??

    happy for all answers!

thanks for answering Baldrick. Ok so I have now downloaded aviaddxsubs and tried it out (have used AviSub before but it didn't work good at all) ... I load my .avi file and rename my .srt file so the program can read it... then in the Config 1 I choose one polish subtitle by setting Character set to East EUROPEAN and Language code to Polish. Then I make my .dvix and load it into my USB. But when I input the USB into my DVD I do see the subs but the characters are still wrong. And when I click on the "Subtitle button" (I can switch those off or) I see they are "Greek" :S why is that?

    thankfull for futher answers
