I've never been so confused on how to accomplish a technical task. I can't even find an off the shelf application (like Roxio) that states that is supports the Canon DC230 video camera or works in Windows XP. I don't even know if Roxio is a good product. Help!!!!!!

what's a canon dc30? it doesn't seem to be a canon product model number.

first, always make sure your dvd is finalized before trying to use it. since it's already in dvd format vobs (mpeg-2), a good choice would be womble's video wizard dvd as it will edit without re-encoding. if you want to make simple cuts the free dvdshrink has a re-author mode that will cut out pieces or join them. almost all other editors will work with mpeg-2 but there will be some loss of quality with every re-encode it goes through. before burning you need an authoring program to take the mpeg-2 and convert it to dvd spec files. then the files can be burned to dvd with the freeware program imgburn.
