Hi there,
I have seen that there are many posts about what I need.
Really I have many Super 8 films that I need to convert into dvd. I have tried by myself, but as a result I have got a movie with flikering frames. And that is the most problem.
I have used:
- for record movies: Sony DCR-PC9E PAL
- for projector: Eumig P8 Dual

I have noticed that my camera have a digital effect calls "Shutter Velocity". It is variable from 1/25 -1/12 - 1/6 - 1/3.

Using the velocity shutter of 1/12 I could record the movie without the flicker noise, but editing the video on Premiere there is another one problem about colours and fluidity of each frames. I can suppose that 1/12 shutter speed is correct for flickering, but maybe is too slow as I have explained.

I need you help or maybe I wish to find out a solution if there is any. I am almost sure that if I use a Telecine system, maybe, I can resolve it, but money are money .

Thank for all your support and Happy New Year.

Next problem. I have tested the possibility to utilize a Canon XM2 and I have noticed that it makes the same problems. I have used these settings:
MOD: Normal (NoFrame)
MANUAL MODE
S 1/60
F. 1,8
dB 6
The results was acceptable, but not very good, flickering is still present, but not very hard and the ghost images on the frames are visible a little bit less than the first try with my camera Sony.
Are there any suggestions?

Thank again
