I've produced a video file in Adobe Premiere taken from a miniDV tape, and have put it together in DVDStyler. The file plays fine on the computer, however, the DVD I have produced looses it's audio synchronisation as the DVD plays. As I am intending to produce many DVDs using this method (tohugh taking footage from a DVB tuner (either Sky or Freeview) as well as miniDVs) this is something I hope can be easily rectified.

    Thanks,

    Richie G

Must admit I didn't think of that...

Is there a bit of software that needs no installation that will allow me to do this? The files in question are on a work computer and installing things are a bit of a pain in the arse to do...

Media Player Classic or Media Player Classic Home Cinema. Single executable, plays DVD file structures, and requires no installation. Just unzip to your desktop and run from there.

Ah, MPC can be standalone - that's great. I use MPC at home but didn't realise it was on its own as I installed it with the K pack or whatever it was called. I shall try that.

Thanks, and sorry for being quite idiotic over this!

(I will also mention that I have burnt directly from DVDStyler and also created an iso and burnt it through Nero with the same problems. I do know however that I will be playing the DVD structure files through MPC not the iso!)

Just tested the vob file in MPC and the sound sync is still off kilter...

Anyway - as this is at work, and it's almost Christmas I won't be able to test any other theories until January... but feel free to post some advice nonetheless!
